I have not written a post in sooooo long! Life has kept on keeping on, and God has shown Himself as faithful as always. Since my last post, our family has lived in West Point, NY, I’ve had my fourth baby (a boy!), experienced God’s goodness during a 2.5 month open-heart sugery recovery for my newborn, moved to Fort Jackson, South Carolina for one year and now visiting family in Michigan for a few weeks before heading on to Fort Hood, Texas.

Always an adventure! I cannot lie and say there is no stress and exhaustion in the middle of all that, but its been good to have this downtime with family after all the packing and the 13 hour drive to Michigan family from South Carolina.
I hope to start writing more. Having three out of four children in school last year opened up my world a bit! I was able to join the local military MomCo. group. at Shandon Church (look up Shandon if you’re heading to Fort Jackson. It was an incredible church family that we miss greatly), and I was able to join the PWOC (Protestant Women of the Chapel) chapter that met at the Main Post Chapel every Tuesday morning. What a vibrant time it was for our family at Fort Jackson!

We’re looking forward to the adventure of living in the western region of the United States since we’ve mostly lived overseas and on the eastern coast side.
Stay tuned for more posts and updates on our life at Fort Hood, Texas!
